The earliest death march happened in the 1830's when the us mover the Cherokee Indians from Georgia to Mississippi. In 1941 hundreds of thousands of prisoners were forced to walk on the high way of Ukraine and Belorussian. The largest death march was in the winter of 1944-1945.The death marches happened because the soviet army began its liberation of Poland.During World War II the Nazis exterminated 6 million Jews. They would immediately murder homosexuals,Gypsies,Jehovah's witnesses, mentally and physically handicapped, and political prisoners. They would even kill baby's and little kids. They didn't have no hearts at all.Approximately 11 million people were killed under Hitlers order.
I don't agree with those times because it was very prejudice. It hurts me to think of the way these people were treated. As our family was founded on different cultures living as one. However I don't see very much of a difference from now and then because in this world their is still so much prejudice and people are often left out or left behind because of stereotypes and the way that society feels that one should be like. It is a constant battle between what is socially right and how peole choose to be.

ReplyDeleteYour blog looks terrific, Anjelica! Nice job finding a picture for your topic.
Be sure to watch out for using double-negatives when writing sentences, like these two examples: "They practically didn't have food or nothing to drink." and "They didn't have no hearts at all."
Be sure to use proper capitalization for proper nouns like "U.S."
Revise this sentence fragment: "As our family was founded on different cultures living as one." Be careful of fragments and run-on sentences in your writing.
Use the proper forms of "they're/there/their."
Great job putting what you have learned into your own words!
